Recently I was asked by Crystal to photograph her family up in one of the most beautiful parts of outer Melbourne, right at the edge of the Kinglake National Park.
This first blog instalment focuses on June & Roy. Married in 1955, they have two children, five grand children and six great grand children, with a seventh great grandchild soon to make an appearance.
June has also just celebrated her 80th birthday.
These pictures were taken in a very simple way, over a cup of tea at the dining table, and they are some of my most treasured images to date.
After 57 years of marriage, all the tenderness, love and respect is ever so clear, even to an outsider such as myself.

This is just beautiful and so special and meaningful.
So. Beautiful.
That is all, I can’t type anymore because words would fail the emotion found in these images…
These are truly exceptional and what photography is all about. Lovely work.
This left me misty… their love is just beautiful
They are so adorable! I hope i’m in love that much when I’m their age
Oh these are superb! I just love seeing people in love at this age, it makes me smile and hope I can look this in love with my husband in the years to come!!
Love it! Wonderful to capture a love that has been shared for so many years.
